IAN SOMERHALDER

Ian Joseph Somerhalder, our beloved Damon Salvatore and the owner of the most beautiful blue eyes from the earth, was born on December 8, 1978 in Covington, Louisiana. Ian is an actor, model, producer, and American businessman. He began his artistic career very early and first as a model at age 10, which led him to New York and not long after to Europe where his career took off. He lived in places like Paris, Milan and London, where he did publicity for Dolce & Gabbana, Guess, Versace, Calvin Klein and Gucci. But it was when he arrived at the junior high school decided to take a break from her modeling career and focus more on school and sports, which did not last long.

At 17 and Ian began studying acting in New York, and 19 when he decided he wanted to be an actor began investing heavily in his career and was trained by William Esper.

His first major role was in the role in "Rules of Attraction" by Roger Avary's adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis novel, but its fate was really sealed while he worked with the extra scene from Black & White (1999) and Hunt talents saw him in a movie set.

From there Ian played several characters, some of them was in the series Young Americans where she portrayed the student Rawley Academy, Hamilton as a character complicated by questioning about their sexual orientation.

Roles such as Ian Hamilton made it possible to work on more films and series such as Lost, CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Now and Again, Tell Me You Love Me and The Big Easy.

In 2006 he starred in Pulse, a remake of a Japanese horror film Kairo called, along with Kristen Bell and Christina Millian. The film was a success and performed well at the box office in its first week of release.

It was also in 2006 that Ian was named one of the 10 male models of DNA Models.

Ian currently works in the series The Vampire Diaries where he plays one of the main characters alongside Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. In the series Ian plays Damon Salvatore charming and fun that makes the hearts of many girls beat faster and your minds are fully hypnotized.
